DAWN FALLON -  BOOTCAMP INSTRUCTOR / HYROX PERFORMANCE COACH

Picture
Health and fitness has been a main focus in my life since having my children. It was important for me to lead by example and show them that sport and exercise was simply something that we did in our everyday lives. Something that not only keeps us fit and strong, but something that we choose to do for fun. By doing this I’d hoped that, whilst growing up, they would be willing to try new sports / activities until they found the one that they truly enjoyed and would want to be involved in for the rest of their lives. And, to me, that’s the secret. Finding that one (or more) activity that you really enjoy. Something you can sustain. Something that not only keeps you physically fit, strong and flexible but also aids your mental wellbeing too. For me it’s Bootcamp. I’ve tried the gyms, running, netball, etc., but Bootcamp has been my ‘go to’ for over ten years. It’s become part of my routine and I enjoy being part of a team. And that’s what we are, a Bootcamp family.

I became more and more interested in the science behind the exercises, understanding the movements and the reasons why, and what worked! So, I decided to do my PT qualifications. This knowledge became invaluable. As the boys progressed through their sports, I was able to understand more about specific training techniques, strengthening, stretching, recovery, etc. I began training the school cross country team and local running club whilst helping family and friends with their fitness goals. I love seeing people flourish in their fitness journeys. Not only in their obvious fitness levels and body shape changes, but their self-confidence and belief. I have recently completed Rich’s Bootcamp Instructor course and qualified as a Boxercise Instructor too which has enabled me to step in, when necessary, covering the Bootcamp classes, keeping that continuity. Helping someone to become more active, become more confident and ultimately become stronger and fitter is the goal for me. And if they manage to find their fitness ‘go to’, whatever it is, if it works for them then go for it!

JAMES ELLIS - HYROX PERFORMANCE COACH

Picture
Hi Everyone, James here. I started my fitness journey in late 2022 and completing Hyrox was always my only goal. After gaining nearly 1.5 stone in just over a year, I completed my first Hyrox in Berlin in April'24. From that point on I was hooked and decided it was also time to become a coach. I then spent 6 months improving my running speed and took on Birmingham in October'24. Having also judged in Birmingham, I have the event experience to coach you through your next race. Remember, Hyrox is a competition against yourself. You only have to beat yourself. Let's go and beat your previous self!

HEATHER AVUL - HYROX PERFORMANCE COACH

I'm also a Taekwondo instructor, which keeps my coaching style dynamic and adaptable. I started my own running journey in my 40's, and now, as a mature athlete, I’m committed to helping others prepare, train smart, and reach the start line injury-free. Let’s unlock your potential!

NICKY COPPER - HYROX COACH / COVER INSTRUCTOR

Picture
With a BSc in Sport and Exercise Science and an MSc in Clinical Exercise Physiology, I specialise in using movement as medicine — for both physical and mental health. I work with individuals living with a wide range of chronic health conditions, prescribing tailored exercise programs to support rehabilitation, promote independence, and help people live fuller, healthier lives. It is a privilege being involved in people’s fitness journeys. Whether it is 1:1 training or coaching group fitness sessions — watching people show up, build aerobic capacity, grow stronger each week, and realise what they’re capable of is incredibly powerful. Personally, I thrive on challenge. I’ve completed an Ironman, a 100km ultramarathon, and now regularly compete in Hyrox and Hybrid events. I’m energised by doing hard things and pushing myself to the edge — physically, mentally, and emotionally. Living with Type 1 Diabetes since 2016 and surviving cervical cancer in 2019 has only strengthened my belief in the power of movement. Our bodies are capable of so much — and it’s my mission to help others discover that for themselves.

LUCY FOSTER - COVER INSTRUCTOR

Picture
Having never set foot in a gym before the age of 22, it was Les Mills classes that got me hooked. Body Combat & Body Attack were my thing! After having some fun in spin classes my instructor told me that I might fancy CrossFit. That was back in 2012 and it’s a discipline I’ve been following ever since. 2025 brought an introduction to Hyrox & I am absolutely loving it. My coaching is style is fun and encouraging. Not everybody has to have the same abilities to be in the class, we can scale and adapt all movements so everyone is included. When I’m not training you can usually find me up a hill! I love hiking & walking & generally being outside!

GARETH BOWEN - COVER INSTRUCTOR

Picture
Hi my name is Gareth, and I was at the very first Fit Body Bootcamp when Rich opened the doors at Himley in 2011. I’ve enjoyed it so much, that when Rich asked if I’d be interested in qualifying as an instructor to cover holidays etc, I jumped at the chance and haven’t looked back. I attend the 6:15am camp, so you may see me there.

AMY MILLS-ROBINSON - COVER INSTRUCTOR

Picture
Hi, I’m Amy. Health and fitness has always been a passion of mine.

I joined the fit body bootcamp in November 2022 and look forward to it every week, it has motivated me to focus on my own goals again and I’m feeling so much better for it! Richard has an amazing group of welcoming people that attend his bootcamps every week and I’m so grateful to be part of the team. I’ve been in the fitness industry since 2015 and I have always possessed a love for fitness from a young age.

As a child, I danced and competed as a county swimmer for many years. In 2015, I completed a sports degree where I also gained a qualification in exercise to music & personal training qualification.

As an adult, I have always loved helping people reach their goals and watching the impact it has on both their physical and mental well-being. Progressing from working in a gym environment, I have been lucky enough to open my own very successful swim school. I absolutely love what I do.

JOANNE FELLOWS - INSTRUCTOR

Picture
Having always had a passion for fitness, nutrition & the benefits it provides, my aim is to provide the tools & inspiration to help others achieve their health, fitness and weight loss goals to become and stay motivated, regardless of age or gender.

CARLA BACKHOUSE - INSTRUCTOR

Picture
Hi, my name is Carla I am a home & gym based Personal Trainer. I have recently started to work with Richard Morris as throughout my career Rich has inspired me in so many ways that now I want to work alongside him, so I too can help inspire you the same way he has me.

Being in the banking sector for many years I was a member of a gym where I got involved part time teaching classes as I used to participate in them regularly and enjoyed doing them most evenings. I thought I would love to teach them as other members were inspired by my level of fitness. It was a natural transition to do my Level 2 Gym Instructing course qualification and started to do 1 2 1 sessions. I knew then this is what I wanted to do full time. From there on I went on to do all my other qualifications and this is how I am here now to help inspire you.

My personal experience & passion for health & fitness means I get real job satisfaction from helping clients to achieve their goals. I believe health & fitness is more than just about looking good, it’s also about feeling great and confident on the inside. Exercise and healthy eating are lifestyle choice's, which should be integrated into your life without taking over other aspects.  Everything should be in moderation and include the odd treat! I use a fusion of boxercise functional training & fat burning exercises for any client, male or female, any age and any fitness level. Time and time again I have proven to get clients in to shape with fun & motivational work outs. You only get one body….. Look after it!

DAMEON FORD

Picture
Health and fitness have been the focus of my life from the age 12 when I started boxing, my passion for boxing and for wanting to be the best at what I did made me explore different training methods. I wanted to know it all and sponge any information that came my way, before I knew it, I was working at a private health club as a fitness instructor, I started my first boxing class at this club but still felt I needed more life experience.

I joined the army at 17, passing at the top of my group in all fitness challenges, I was asked to join the boxing team, I became lightweight champion in my regiment that still stands to one of my proudest achievements. I came out the army feeling like had a lot more to offer people and since leaving in 2005, I have been working alongside Rich to build a very successful personal training business, running bootcamps and boxercise classes….every day there is something new that I learn about health and fitness this keeps me motivated and determined to still help people reach their goals.

LOY STOBART

Born in Wolverhampton 1972 and son of Wolves football hero Barry Stobart, I briefly followed in my father’s footsteps as a professional footballer with Nottingham Forest FC, Wolverhampton Wanderers FC, Cheltenham Town FC and Bidvest Wits FC in South Africa. After a 4 year football career I gained a BSc degree in Sport Science, followed quickly by accreditation as Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). I subsequently gained a Teaching qualification and then taught secondary and primary school Physical Education for ten years, both in the UK and abroad.

My passion for fitness continued and during my period of teaching and I also qualified as a UEFA “B” Football Coach, working at the Wolves Academy. I also work with Wolverhampton Boxing Club in their Boxercise sessions. I then gained the qualification as a Personal Trainer (REPS Level 4) graduating from the European Institute of Fitness. I now train people on a one-to-one basis, small group personal training, bootcamps, and sport specific fitness. In every training session my goal is to create the optimal training environment for each and every person to tap into their training spirit, empower themselves, and achieve the fitness results they desire.
